I was beginning to gather things together to make dinner last night when I glanced out the kitchen window and saw this. . .I could hear laughter and squeals and rustling leaves, and I could not help but think how wonderful it is that my boys have built in friends. . .
In case you cannot tell, this is Tim Tebow attempting to tackle Drew Brees.
And, now Timmy T has the ball. . .
We have two trees that sit about 20 feet apart, and they are usually the end zones. Sometimes they are on the same team ~ quarterback and receiver. Sometimes they are on opposing teams, and they take turns trying to get around each other and to the end zone tree to score a touchdown before being tackled! Either way, they have so much fun!
He is wishing that he was old enough to join in. . .
Or, maybe he is wishing that his partner (Eriky D) was old enough to play on his team. . .Or, maybe he is just thinking about what he needs to do next. . .water the gardenias!!!

My mother had four children in four years - the middle two were actually born in January and December of the same year. We always had a playmate. And,when sibling squabbles happened, we always had an ally. Yes siblings are truly a blessing - at any phase of life.
Water the gardenias! Snicker, snicker!!!
Hahahaha! Love that.
Quite a few years ago, my hubs at his sister's house...out in the country. Hubs was sitting in our truck talking to me on the phone when out comes his 5 year old nephew to "water the gardenias" off the front porch. We laughed together as hubs gave me the picture of what was going on. But what caught us off guard was when a few minutes later, here comes his BIL (nephew's dad) out to the front porch, also to "water the gardenias". It was dark and neither one knew that my husband was in the truck watching all this and talking to me on the phone. LOL!
I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree...
