My JCT

(Okay so I have no idea why this picture is sideways! I have never had this happen, and I am helpless to change it. My computer won't let me??)

This is my JCT. I hope that I never forget. . . one hand in his mouth and one hand in his pants. Not that I approve of the hand in the pants thing - I don't. I feel certain that in the course of single day I say at least one million and two times, "JCT get your hands out of your mouth and your pants!" But, like some sort of innate drawing. . . the hands migrate back to their favorite places. . . This is my JCT, and I love him!

He is my messy boy! Joshua likes to be clean. He actually uses a napkin. But, not my little JCT. Messes don't really seem to affect him like they do Joshua and I. He rather likes them.

Example: We painted yesterday morning. . .

Notice his brother watching with a smile. . .
My little finger painting Picasso!

Just for the record: Joshua's hands, face, hair, shirt, and chair were all clean.

Hi lovely,

Just FYI, I responded to your comment in my comments section. Thanks for writing.

He is such a cutie! The "hands in the pants" thing is so funny in these little guys..... the little boy I used to nanny always sat that way too. We were constantly like "Honey, take your hands out and eat your breakfast." Seriously, at the kitchen table. Lovely. Thanks for sharing your littlest man. And I love how you call him JCT.

Love,
calissa

So cute! Our little Evie sucks her 2 fingers just like that and rubs her bella button.(as she calls it)

Your boys are the cutest things I have ever seen!!!!And,just think another one to make it all the more fun! What blessings!

He's obviously not into social hangups - if the thumbs and the hands make him happy, which they obviously do, it'll be hard to stop him. Eventually he'll realize society is a little hard on doing either in public, and he'll stop on his own. Two of ours sucked their thumbs til they were 6, and yes we paid for braces, but they did eventually stop sucking thumbs.

I enjoyed the pictures, even if I did have to turn my head sideways! lol

One of the things I'm most looking forward to is being able to see the personality differences between sibling evolve. I love that God has made each of my children unique and I find it a joy to unwrap each new facet to their personality. =)

JCT sounds like so much fun; you must have your hands full!!

Erin, the hands in the pants part made me laugh out loud. I always tell one of my boys, "Hey, everything is still there! You can let go now." It doesn't really work, but it makes me feel better that I at least tried :)

JCT is a mess--an adorable, adorable one. How fun is he going to be!!

I can't wait to see Elijah and what he's like!! I'm getting excited for you . . .

At least they were all consistently sideways :-) He is a darling boy. My oldest son used to suck the same two fingers. He usually had to have his favorite blanket as well. They just do what is comfortable - sweetly and innocently. He's a "keeper" Erin!
All of you have a great thursday.

The hand in the pants is so funny! He is so cute, I could squeeze him. It's weird how they find their own little 'quirks' to make them comfortable. Can drive you crazy if you let it.

He is adorable. I love the paint all in his hair. My son does that with his food.

He is precious. So who does he look like? We have that green walrus shirt. I may have a crick in my neck now!!! :)

Was that the most randomly grouped sentences or what? My education does extend further than 1st grade.

Erin, I came across your blog through Sarah's In the Midst of It. You have a beautiful blog, by the way! You made me laugh with your picture of JCT--I have a 3 1/2 year old son, and I'm so glad to know mine is not the only one who has his hands in his pants! I'd love for you to stop by my blog anytime--it's a baby infant blog, but growing by the day! Blessings!

So cute! I have a messy one too. I guess I thought all boys were like that, but if Joshua likes stuff neat, then maybe there's hope. :)

You caught me. A lot of people just let their friends know if they saw them nominated for an award... so that's what I was trying to do. But yes, it was me. When I read "Blog You'll Never Stop Reading" I thought to myself, "Who would I check if I didn't have time to check anyone else?" And it was you (along with 2 friends I know in real life), so I decided I would nominate your blog. I love it. Hugs!

Hi! I live in a sweet country home overflowing with love and laughter. I have been blessed to journey these days beside a man that I love, respect, and admire. He is my soul-mate and best friend. Together we are seeking to raise our seven children to be lovers of God, to be wise and discerning, and to be all that our sweet God created them to be.
