Life is a just a bowl of cherries. . .

or is it a bottle of cherries. . .

Joshua loves Marchino cherries, loves them. He asked me if he could drink the remaining syrup out of the bottle after he had eaten the last of the cherries. I don't like cherries of any variety, so I said yes assuming that he would take one sip and decide it was yucky. Oh, boy, was I wrong.

He loved it! Drank the whole bottle in two sips!!

A boy after my own heart! When I was a little girl my grandmother always had marichino cherries in her fridge and what a treat :)

The other day, my daughter was eating strawberries dipped in ketchup. Isn't it funny and sometimes gross what they'll eat/drink?

Oh, I love this picture! He is so cute!!

And, BTW, the previous post about your Mom was so great. I've met so many encouraging women lately that have told me my children I'm doing so much for my children by pouring myself into them and staying home. I have needed that encouragement.

Oh, blech!! I can't help but shudder at the thought of drinking cherry syrup.

One of my brothers drank a bottle of soy sauce once...

Of course he did -- it's pure sugar! And I don't blame him one bit. ;)

Hi! I live in a sweet country home overflowing with love and laughter. I have been blessed to journey these days beside a man that I love, respect, and admire. He is my soul-mate and best friend. Together we are seeking to raise our seven children to be lovers of God, to be wise and discerning, and to be all that our sweet God created them to be.
