is without a doubt one of my favorite things about spring! Honeysuckle sprouts up in new places all over our yard every year! It is literally everywhere this time of year, and I love it! As soon as I walk out the door, that sweet, clean aroma hits me! And, the boys love to pick it and taste the delicious nectar on the tip of their tongue! God has such a wild imagination, and it is so evident in nature!

Honeysuckle brought back memories of me and my dad dabbing it on our tongues.. soo yummy!
Oh my goodness, honeysuckle is one of my favorite parts of Spring as well! It's so weird, I've been thinking about honeysuckle lately, because it reminds me of back home down south. Sweet memories! Blessings!
My girls and I were able to go on a long walk last night with Eric's parents. I could smell honeysuckle so strong. I realized E had never tasted it, so I found it and showed her what to do. She was amazed (mostly that we were 'eating' a plant :) It was so neat to share that with her.
Mmmm... I love honeysuckle too! Hubby and I were riding our bikes last week and rode by a patch of it. I love that I always smell it before I see it.
I thought it was neat that you posted about honeysuckle on this particular day. This was the evening we were at Kevin's grandmother's home. My girls spent the evening picking honeysuckle blossoms and enjoying the sweet nectar. This was their first time to do this. We had to find the honeysuckle here at our house when we got home.
