A happy renunion!!!
Rain and silky made it safely home from Nana and Poppy's today - thanks to UPS!!! It was a happy reuniting for my sweet boy and his two most prized possessions!! He immediately put his nose up to Rain and said, "He smells like Nana's house!" Then, he took his silky into his room and layed it on his pillow "just so" like he always does. This is when I took the opportunity to photograph his excitement! Nana has been so worried about him being sad. . . no more worries, Nana!! He is a happy boy now! It took Rain a little time, but I think he has successfully high-fived and kissed every other stuffed animal in our home (with a little help from Joshua)! Welcome home, little dog. We have missed you and silky, too.

He is SO precious that I want to reach through this picture and hug him! And you, too:)
Oh, and I posted our "schedule" for you today!
I agree... Yeah Grandma!!
I am so relieved!! What a sweet, sweet picture. I remember well the day we left my son's favorite blanket in a store somewhere. We immediately bought another, but it just wasn't the same. With my younger son, his blanket finally got so worn out I cut it in little squares that he could carry around with him. He was so attached to that blanket he would stand beside the washing machine while it was being washed - worried that it would never come back.
I hope Rain and silky haven't been gone for days. Lord knows when our blanket and horse are missing - NO ONE SLEEPS!!!! He is adorable!!
I did see Sarah's schedule. Pretty funny. Just keep in mind the baby sleeps all the time in the beginning, so that schedule just sneaks up on you. You don't even know it has started until you stop and look in reverse. It will be fun!
Don't forget to take sometime for yourself. I remember asking my friend Mandy, who also has children close together, "Just how do you get all three in the car without one being hit by an oncoming car?" She looked at me like I had lost my mind. We are like a well oiled machine around here. It drives the grandparents crazy. I almost dare them to rock the schedule. But, for us it is a neccessity.
Welcome home Rain and silky!
Oh, Erin! He is such a doll. That grin just melts my heart. I'm so glad that Rain and Silky found their way back home courtesy of UPS.
What a precious picture! SO glad he's got his comfort pals back.
YEAH! Nothing like a child reunited with something very special to them.
What an absolutely adorable picture!!
